It was pouring when we started, and we worried that it would be awful, but had to go that day as the Lowry and Choucair exhibitions were about to finish, so there was no choice.<br /><br />We thoroughly enjoyed the boat experience, and will do this again. We alw...Eirene, you had a lovely day for the trip. We always go to Tate Modern by boat now. We go up at the weekend and park outside Tate Britain, and take the boat from Millbank. I love it. Last time was the day of an extremely high tide, and we had to wait a long time to return upstream - until the tide had gone out enough for the boat to fit under the arches of the lowest bridge.
