Flowers

Every time I talk to people here we invariably end up talking about the economic, political and social situation in the country. They always end the conversation by saying that however bad things are, we must remain positive, we must look at the bright side of life and enjoy beautiful things.

So, here is a post of flowers to think about and enjoy the beauty of everything around us.

Part of the Valentine's Day display in the window: roses and gold coins on the scales, and guess which  weighs more?  I took this photograph last week -  the people working in the shop said that a lot more would be added just before Valentine's Day, but then we were overtaken by events and I was not able to visit again.

  1. Ever beautiful.
Have a look at one of my favourite flower and food blogs http://misspickering.blogspot.com/ where Miss P on Feb 2nd introduced her window for Valentine's Day with her ascending order of bouquets, makes me smile just to think about it.
