I don't know - The weave of textile language. Richard Tuttle

I don't Know - The Weave of Textile Landscape, by Richard Tuttle in the Turbine Hall of Tate Modern.

I have seen all the installations in the Turbine Hall since Tate Modern opened. This is the first time I was disappointed.

Jonathan Jones wrote in the Guardian that this installation 'is lovely and forgettable'. I think he was being very generous.

There is really nothing more I would want to say about this. The photographs speak for themselves.

  1. I like the steel grid and lighting at the side.

  2. I think it looks exciting but there is not enough of it, needs to fill every space above your head and around you perhaps? May get to see it.

    1. Also, the pieces of conti board looked all wrong to me - they maybe should have been covered up with the cloth? The whole installation looked insignificant to me. Immediately forgettable as Jonathan Jones said, but I did not think it was lovely. I would be interested in your comments if you happen to get to see it, Avril.
