Buttercups

Charlecote Park

Places Meadow, a 27 acre low-level flood meadow, which gets totally transformed every May

when the buttercups flower.

I had forgotten about the buttercups this year and we came by chance - what a lucky decision that was

It just goes on and on - an endless yellow carpet

a bit of purple here, but it just gets subsumed by all the buttercups

The spire of the gorgeous St Peter ad Vincula church in Hampton Lucy in the distance

Four white buttercups. I've never seen these before. We met some people earlier who told us about them, and gave us the challenge of finding them - and we did!

It's endless

another picture of the church, in case you got tired of the yellow

a broken egg on the ground - we've seen quite a few of these during our walks recently

a view of the house

We leave the meadow, this a view from higher up

a deer, looking on

a view of the pond and Charlecote church and we continued with our walk.
