Snowdrops

The snowdrops have started appearing, a reminder that winter will come to an end 

 

Snow

 

We had the first proper snow of the year yesterday. Most of it settled, but there was a partial thaw later on. The world is still white today, and the sun is shining. It's beautiful.

African masks

Masks by Romuald Hazoume, 1962

These masks are all made from plastic bottles; they are painted, with wooden beads, plastic straw, shells, metal, feathers, plus other objects.
