A late post... Went to the pottery studio in December to collect some of the term's work, this being my second year of doing ceramics.
A wall plaque, Ken holding it up.
The first time I used crank. With white slip.
Small bowl, first time I used porcelain. Blue oxide, Lucie Rie glaze.
the inside
Smal/mediuml bowl, porcelain and black oxide.

the inside (where the copper oxide did come through even though I had not used any on the inside)
I made five of these, all different sizes, using different-sized balls as reverse moulds
I used stoneware clay, various oxides, (black and copper mainly) and then Lucie Rie glaze
this one is my favourite.
and another view.

They are very lovely. Your work improves dramatically each term.
