Lever House

Lever House, 390 Park Avenue, across from the Seagram Building

designed by Gordon Bunshaft and Natalie de Blois, the quintessential and seminal glass-box skyscraper, built according to the principles of Mies van der Rohe, the first curtain-wall skyscraper in New York City.

The Plaza and public space were innovative for the time.
