Turtles

The National Garden in Athens is tiny, yet, every time we walk through it, we discover something new.

This time it was the pond with the turtles

there are hundreds of them

on the rocks

and in the water.

We admired this huge, old tree which is by the pond and then we moved on

to another pond nearby

walked over this bridge

wondered what type of bird this is

made the most of the welcome shade

it's been so hot this summer!

Past the Garden Cafe which is by the exit

past the tsolias

and made our way to the Picasso and Antiquity exhibition.
