A bright, sunny day so we decided to walk in the grounds of Charlecote park.
Lots of Jacob sheep around
The lake was sparkling
and then, we saw the deer
They were very relaxed, basking in the sunshine
I managed to get very close
Lots of people watching, and then, one left the others and came to the path to drink from a puddle
I could not tear myself away
I have never got this close before, and they were totally oblivious and relaxed
here's a young one: the antlers have just started forming
It was a privilege getting this close.
