Alimos gallery




Mater et Filius 




at the Municipal Gallery, Alimos.

An unusual exhibition as the two artists are mother and son.

Ktistopoulou was born in Athens, and studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Her work is exhibited in numerous galleries across Greece. She taught painting and drawing at AKTO Art and Design School of Graphics for six years.

Sotiris was born in Athens, and studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts. He teaches at the University of West Attica.

    What I forgot to say when writing up the post is that the painting that is featured on the poster for the exhibition was painted by both of them: he did the right side and she did the left.
