A 10-metre Santa is standing in a prominent place in Glyfada. You can see how big it is by looking at the young woman sitting on its left foot.

Originally the Santa was wearing a mask, which I thought was an excellent idea, given that mask-wearing is mandatory in Greece during this present lockdown. There were so many complaints about this however, that the mayor decided to have the mask removed. What were the complaints about? Why? I really cannot understand it. Anyway, we have a maskless Santa now, and it certainly dominates with its imposing presence.
