Strandstraede Keramik, on Stradstraede 14.
While we were wandering around the streets of Nyhavn we came upon a delightful ceramics shop which exhibited the work of three ceramicists.

Beautiful. Did any come home with you?
ReplyDeleteThank you for this series of posts on your trip; it is fascinating.
Thank you for your kind comment, Olga. We loved Copenhagen, it is a beautiful city and we had a great week. I am trying to record as much of it as I can as it is a good way of reliving the trip but also a way of remembering.
DeleteUnfortunately we did not buy any ceramics while we were there, but it was extremely tempting....It is a very expensive city however, and we tried to keep costs down.
Olga, I must also add that I really enjoy reading your blog.
DeleteEirene, thank you for your kind words about my blog. I think we must have similar tastes in ceramics because I too find Gordon Baldwin's work objects of desire.

DeleteI think we must have similar tastes in art in general Olga, and this is why I enjoy looking at your blog.
In relation to Gordon Baldwin, we went up to York last year especially to see an exhibition of his work. Here are the links so that you can feast your eyes:

It was fantastic. I went to the exhibition twice.
