The docks in Liverpool

It's a real pleasure walking along the docks in Liverpool. This photograph was taken from the ferry across the Mersey and it's quite a panoramic view

Looking a bit closer, the modern buildings along Princes Dock

Still on the ferry, the Three Graces, the Museum of Liverpool

a closer look at that fantastic Museum of Liverpool

Moving along, the Museum of Liverpool again, and the Albert Docks, with the Echo Wheel behind

zooming in on the last picture

a closer look at the Albert Docks with the Anglican Cathedral behind

the Museum of Liverpool and the Mann Island development behind.

We spent quite a lot of time walking around Albert Dock

Sculpture of Billy Fury by Tom Murphy

such a mixture of styles, all blending in together

the warehouses have been restored beautifully

and they're full of bars and restaurants

another view of a section of the Albert Dockwith the Museum of Liverpool between the warehouses

the light suddenly changed

The Maritime Museum also incorporating the Slavery Museum

and what about this?

This old warehouse has been converted into offices

the Echo Wheel

echoes of Liverpool's industrial and maritime past everywhere

the old blending with the new

on the Strand.
